Shay Lane School Council 2021-22
This year we received many applications for the School Council. Each candidate completed an application form and presented the reasons why they would make a good School Council member, to their class . After this, the whole school took part in an Election Day in their classes. Every child had the opportunity to vote for who they would like to be their class representative. They completed a polling card and posted it in an official ballot box.

Our School Council Vision is to:
1. Listen carefully and share our ideas, and the ideas of our class mates. Teamwork makes the dream work!
2. Work hard to make sure that all children feel safe, happy and comfortable.
3. Help people to believe in themselves and be the best that they can be.
4. Make important decisions to help the whole school and make sure everyone is treated fairly.
5. Work together to make sure that our school is the best in the whole wide world.
